Thank you for your interest in YMCA Camp Tulequoia and Element YMCASkate Camp.

The Visalia YMCA operates two summer resident camps at Sequoia Lake, YMCA Camp Tulequoia and Element YMCA Skate Camp, located at the 5,500 foot level of the Sierra Nevada in Central California, about an hour’s drive from Visalia or Fresno. We provide values-oriented camping programs for youths, teens and families.

Did you know – ?

• We serve over 1500 people annually through our Youth, Teen, Family and Skate programs
• We have $30,000 available for financial assistance, called “Camperships”
• Campership funds are donated by individuals throughout our local community
• Campers can earn all or a portion of their fees though YMCA Toffee Peanut sales
• You can register online at our website for most camp programs
• Camp Tulequoia has been operating since 1922
• Skate Camp is over 20 years old and started in 1984
• Our camps employ over 70 "Professional Rolemodels" each summer
• Camp Tulequoia is accredited by the American Camp Association
• Our camp facilities are also available for group rentals

YMCA Camp Tulequoia

Since 1914 our summer campers at Camp Tulequoia(pronounced "too la coy ah") have enjoyed an environment that encourages heartfelt laughter, interactive learning, personal growth and experiences that last a lifetime. Whether you are starting first grade or about to graduate from high school, we have camping programs for you, even family camp. Surrounded by towering pine trees, overlooking beautiful Sequoia Lake, Camp Tulequoia is the perfect location to make learning fun. Explore the giant Sequoias on a nature hike, create unique leather bracelets, learn to sail, canoe, and windsurf on sunny Sequoia Lake, learn how to cook your own campfire dinner, experience personal growth on the Ropes Course, and make new friends that you will keep forever.

Element YMCA Skate Camp

We combine a progressive skate instruction program with a complete YMCA camp experience. Element YMCA Skate Camp is a skateboarder’s paradise sitting on beautiful Sequoia Lake. Top professional and amateur skaters from around the world provide skate instruction, demonstrations and workshops. Professionals from all aspects of the industry will share how they have taken their passion for skateboarding and turned it into fulfilling careers.
